Sylvia & Howard’s Wedding
On Saturday, September 12th, Sylvia and Howard were married in an outdoor wedding ceremony on Auberge du Pommier’s lush garden terrace. The intimate affair was attended by 42 of the couple’s closest family and friends.
Following the nuptials, guests celebrated with an outdoor cocktail reception, featuring passed canapés like savoury scallion Madeleines with lemon crème fraîche, grilled octopus brochettes with strawberry gastrique, and grilled Moroccan lamb meatballs. The celebration then moved indoors to the Oscar Room for a seated three-course dinner, highlighting the best of modern French cuisine. The adults enjoyed dishes like roasted duck breast and beef tenderloin, while the kids tucked into fish goujonettes and petit filets of beef.
Dessert featured a gorgeous sweets table with three cakes: chocolate with cream cheese icing, lemon cake with lemon icing, and mille crepe cake with a vanilla filling. Fortunately, there were leftovers for the bride and groom to pack up and take home!
